The Asalthos Anti-Jadahalan Pogrom, often called the Asalthos Pogrom, was a pogrom against Jadahalans by anti-Jadahalan extremist groups. The pogroms took place from April 19th to April 21st in the Dahayba District of Asalthos, before the army of Edazora was called in to put an end to the pogrom.
Background
Edazora had been from the very beginning embroiled in a conflict between Edazorans, and Jadahalans, who perceived themselves to be different from Edazorans. The conflict was more or less kept from boiling over by king of Edazora Bodaniya Thale, but sometimes it would still bubble up, often times in Asalthos. From 1228 to 1232 at least 35 Jadahalans living in Asalthos were killed by anti-Jadahalan movements. In 1231 a mob of Edazorans burned down eighteen Jadahalan homes in the Zasatal District of Asalthos. Another incident in 1231 saw six Jadahalans beaten to death by a number of Anti-Jadahalan League members.
