The Capital Territory of Kataboriyos (Eda.: ɜ̆ɾɔʋ ɞɔɩ̆ɾɷʆɔ ȷʋ ɞɔɾɔʋ̆ȷɩ̆ɛ; Edazoran pronunciation: /ˈɡɑˌtɑb ˈkɑˌjoʊ.toʊ.jɑ iːb ˈkɑˌtɑ.boʊr.joʊs/; Gattab Kayotoja ib Kataboriyos), often just shortened to Kataboriyos is the capital and largest city of the United Provinces of Edazora. Established shortly after the region's settlement by the Edazoyasi Drakona, Kataboriyos has been the center of Edazoran society since its inception, and is considered a cultural "Mecca" of sorts for the Edazoyasi. In more recent years, Kataboriyos has also come to be regarded as one of the most "cultured" and educated in the Old World, partly due to its 28 universities and partly due to its wide array of beliefs on virtually everything that exists.
Kataboriyos has remained largely intact over the years, unlike many capitals of the Old World and many Edazoran cities. Perhaps the closest the city ever came to significant devastation was its state during the two year long Second Edazoran Civil War, in which it was the capital of Siraist Edazora. A little under 25% of the city was destroyed during the war, most of which was rebuilt by the end of the 1930s.
