The 29th Assembly of the Kryfonsparliszaiye was the 29th legislature of the Kryfona Kingdom, having been elected in the 1897 parliamentary elections. The Kryfonsparliszaiye, which consists of 81 elected MPs and a government appointed speaker, was first convened on 3 October, 1897 in Wing-A of the Complex of the Palace of the Kryfona. The 29th Assembly was the sixth assembly to be opened by King Yeqsrin Worissilo, and the last one he would open–he died in February of 1900.
The 29th Assembly returned 81 MPs to the Kryfonsparliszaiye, each of which represented a constituency of the Kryfona Kingdom under the boundaries established in the 1883 redistricting. This assembly was the third and final assembly to be returned by these boundaries. In predictable fashion, the Kryfona Loyalist Party retained its majority as it had in the previous six elections–however, it was a majority that was reduced from 46 in the 28th Assembly to 42. The Royalists flipped five seats throughout the nation, two of which were city seats; the Loyalists flipped the single rural Royalist seat in Lawvsgara, cementing their control of the area.
