Sari Tuvas Gabo (born 13 November, 1960) is a Yaraan political figure and the current Minister of Yaraan Affairs of the Kryfona Kingdom, having been appointed to take the place of Syinu Seikens Avo after his death in April of 2008. Gabo is a member of the Yaraan Kryfon’s Movement, and the party’s sole representation in the Cabinet of the Monarchy.
Born in Tidkae to two modestly-well-off Yaraan parents shortly before the Invasion of Yaraa and the outbreak of the Yaraan Crisis, Gabo was raised in a Yaraa that was only just returning to normal from a four year long Kryfona occupation and years of Impurist attacs. He originally attended the Tidkae Yaraan Academy, but after the school was burned down during fighting in the Yaraan Crisis, he went to the Varje School, a nearby academy which specialized in politics. Gabo attended the school from the age of seven onward, and subsequently took an interest in politics from his classes there. Aged sixteen, he graduated and moved to the University of Yadysim, where he graduated with a political degree.
In 1981, at the age of twenty-one, Gabo joined the Yaraan Kryfon’s Movement and from there gradually worked his way up the ranks of the party. In his early years with the party, Gabo mostly worked as a campaigner for lower-level campaigns. This led to him being noticed by Yaraan government officials; they noted his ability to gauge the political waters of a region were adept, and subsequently recruited him to join the government as a political adviser. He would work in this position from the age of twenty-five in 1985 until 2002, when he was promoted to a senior political adviser for the party as a whole. Gabor also remained in this position for a significant period of time—he remained there until 2008.
The sudden death of party member Syinu Seikens Avo in April of 2008 took the YKM and the cabinet of King Ghrodinh Virkoszilixaniz off guard. Avo had been relatively healthy at the time of his death, and did not have a replacement in mind at the time he died. Thus the government came to tap Gabo, for the same reasons that the YKM had when he first became a political adviser in 1985. Gabo accepted, and has remained in the position since taking it in 2008.
Gabo has been married since 1988 to Anej Taruws, and has a single child, Yasri Gabo. The younger Gabo is also a politico, but works a journalist for Yadysima covering local politics.
