Vălun Oneraj Zecorzan (Arieles: Vălun Oneraj Zecorzan; Arieles: pronunciation: i/ˌvʌˈluːn ˌɔːˈneɪ.rɑdʒ ˈzeɪˌkɔɪr.zɑn/; also Drakona: Phaalyon Oneraj Zekorzan; Drakona pronunciation: i/ˈfɑːlˌjoʊn ˌoʊˈneɪ.rɑdʒ ˈzeɪˌkoʊr.zɑn/; 1906-1986) was the sixth leader of the Adborthos-Yolatho Republic, ruling from 1948 to 1967. Born in Iliõrafili, but raised in Ratinethos, Vălun became a legal Yolathosi in 1925, and entered politics in 1933. She joined the Parsem Arieles ăv Adbortăs-Yolatho in 1939, becoming a spokesperson for the party in 1940. By 1946, Vălun soon found herself being suggested as a successor to the incumbent ruler, Veila Anetăs. Vălun was confirmed as Anetăs' successor in 1947, and on Anetăs' death on 16 July, 1948, ascended to power.
Vălun's reign lasted exactly 19 years, going from 16 July, 1948, to 16 July, 1967. After contracting a particularly severe illness in 1966, Vălun's ability to competently reign was adversely effected. Over the course of the next year, she began to phase herself out of power, and soon thereafter announced that she would resign from her post as president on 16 July, 1967. Kaila Gatil, then 24, was confirmed as Vălun's successor, and took her post on 16 July.
After resigning, Vălun moved from the Palace in downtown Ratinethos to the suburb of Sononine. In spite of the damage caused by the illness, Vălun continued to publish her opinions on the state of Adborthos-Yolatho until 1974, when Gatil was killed in a coup and the Adborthos transitioned into the Aiadna. Although outspoken against the regime, Vălun was forced into silence at the threat of personal execution by Radina Nenathosin, and left the country until the regime was dissolved on 3 November, 1977. After her return, the rest of her life was a quiet affair, and she eventually died on 27 November, 1986, at the age of 80.
