The city of Galyos (Eda.: ɜɔɂɩ̆ɛ; Edazoran pronunciation: /ˈɡɑlˌjs/), is the capital and largest city of Jadahala Province. Founded in 1225, Galyos is one of Edazora's oldest cities. Since its creation, Galyos has changed hand multiple times -- from 1266 to 1291, Galyos was a part of the Jadahala Republic, but after the First War of Jadahala in 1291 it returned to Edazora. Jadahala regained half of in the Second War of Jadahala from 1365 to 1367, from which point it remained in their hands until the Reunification. Galyos was also a part of and the capital of Yiltaist Edazora during the Second Edazoran Civil War, ultimately being reincorporated into what became the United Provinces of Edazora in 1936.
