Jozeps Azsakar Zarnatiek, III Tejs Karya (born 29 April, 1956) is an Azsaehan political figure, a former provincial MP, and the current Minister of Security of the Kryfona Kingdom, having taken the position in 1992. Zarnatiek served as the Royalist MP for the 4th Azsaehan District—Azsaeh City for 6 years from 1981 to 1987, and then served as a local adviser for the party until his appointment as the Minister of Security in 1992. He is one of the longest serving ministers of the modern political era, having served for twenty-five years as of 2017.

The son of a wealthy Azsaehan landowner, Zarnatiek lived a relatively uneventful early life. He attended the City of Azsaeh National Academy from the age of five until the age of eighteen, and was relatively spoiled as a child because of his father’s wealth. Nonetheless, Zarnatiek had a relative streak of independence as he matured, and he separated himself from his father after he went off to college (although he did eventually inherit his father’s title and land).

Unlike many Kryfona in government positions, Zarnatiek did not originally intend to go into politics and had no real desire to do so. He attended the University of Azsaeh and graduated with a degree in the discipline of communications in 1977, although he was a member of the Kryfona Royalist Party from the age of twenty onward. His commitment to communications changed however when he volunteered for the Royalists in Peiretsaja during the local elections of 1978 and greatly enjoyed the experience. Subsequently he volunteered with the Royalists in Azsaeh for the coming 1981 local elections, and later offered himself as a potential MP.
