The Kaila Cabinet (Drakona: ɞɔȷɂɔ ɞɩ̆ʋʅ̆; Drakona pronunciation: i/kaɪ.lɑ kiː.uː.bɛn/; Kaila Kyoben) was the government of the Adborthos-Yolatho Republic under Kaila Gatil's reign. It ascended to power on 16 July, 1967. Although wildly supported by the general public, the Kaila Cabinet was reviled in militarist circles, and during Gatil's reign was targeted several times by extremists. On 18 June, 1972, an assassination attempt which targeted the cabinet -- and Gatil in specific -- killed the Minister of Foreign Affairs Tajain Esiliran and then Speaker of the Adborthosi Adarin Helire. Further assassination attempt against Gatil and Vice President Sadane Yidal were foiled in 1973 and 1974, respectively.
The Kaila Cabinet was eventually dissolved on 20 August, 1974, when the Aiadnasi seized power in the 1974 Adborthos Coup. During the coup, Gatil was killed, and Yidal was captured, leading to the cabinet's disestablishment and the formation of the Radina Cabinet. Under the Adborthos Dictatorship, most of the remnants of the Kaila Cabinet were systematically silenced and persecuted. With the exception of Elrein Adibariat, by 1975 every former member was either murdered, jailed, or exiled.
