The Patriotic Secessionists (Kryfona: Voizczazs Zereszijeies; For. Kryf. /ˈvɔɪˌzɑs ˈzɛˌrɛs...ɛs/; Yaraan: Voiskasz Zeresijeies; VZ), sometimes known as the "Voizeres" (from Voizczazs Zereszijeies) is a minor, Yaraan-based political party in the Kryfona Kingdom. It is one of the far-left Yaraan parties, and stands for Yaraan secessionism as well as Yaraan resistance against the Kryfona crown. The party was founded on 20 January, 1960, during the early stages of tension between Yaraans and the government of the Kryfona Kingdom under King Tyeri Awaseq. The party is not federal, and therefore cannot stand for Kryfonsparliszaiye seats, but it maintains a relatively active political base among some demographics of the Yaraan population. It currently holds 3 seats in the Yaraan House, in which it is a member of the Secondary Opposition. The party is currently led by Lizar Margos, who took power in 1996.

Historically, the Patriotic Secessionists have held very controversial positions both on policy in Yaraa and toward the Kryfona crown. The party was founded by a radical member of the Yaraan Social Movement–which transitioned into a terrorist group not long after and was one of the major parties to the Yaraan Crisis–and was geared originally towards other radicals. Nonetheless, the first members of the party were quite moderate compared to leader Diusa Saravir, and the party gradually transitioned into one whose target demographic was the far-left as opposed to outright radical terrorists. Still, the "moderates" of the party were not quiet about their objections to the crown of the Kingdom. In 1962, shortly before the party was set to contest the 1963 elections in Yaraa, the party was nearly barred from standing after it advocated bomb threats against government buildings in Lawvsgara; for the comment, Diusa Saravir temporarily stepped down from the party. Nevertheless, the controversy–which was widely reported in Yaraan newspapers–did not stop the party from winning 10 seats in the 1963 election and Saravir himself from being elected as an MP.

The party landed in hot water again in 1964, several months after the Yaraan Crisis began, when it endorsed the Revolutionaries party for a statement it released which stated it was "high time that the Kryfona Kingdom get a kick in the mouth and learn to deal with its own affairs." Although many members of the party disagreed with the sentiment purely on the grounds of timing, Saravir endorsed it personally via the party, and subsequently found himself at the mercy of the media. The Revolutionaries party was almost immediately suspended for the statement by the Yaraan House, and because of Saravir, the Patriotic Secessionists were as well. As with the other comment controversy, Saravir temporarily stepped down as a result.

The 1969 elections were not kind to the party, despite Yaraan nationalism being at a fever pitch. Although it had won 10 seats in the last election, in 1969, it retained just 2. This result was disastrous for the party–it remains the worst result in their history–and as a direct result Saravir stepped down for good from the party. Many members of the party were taken off guard by both the result and the resignation, and it would be months before the party managed to sort out its leadership troubles. In December of 1969, Vadirha Sovin was elected to lead the party in Saravir's place, but an internal revolt within the party's leadership quickly led to his ousting and another party leader, Sorina Edari, taking his place. Edari herself was plagued by troubles within the party and eventually ousted in 1975, when the party performed only marginally better and won just 3 seats.

In 1976, the party elected Syor Margos to lead the party in the hopes of sparking some sort of revival. Margos, who was 42 at the time, had virtually no political experience beyond that of a campaigner; nevertheless, he accepted the party's nomination and began a process of organization for the party that ultimately took almost 5 years. In 1980, during the waning months of the process, Margos announced his candidacy for the party during the coming elections, the first party leader to run for a seat since Saravir himself. He ultimately lost by a narrow margin of just 800 votes–the party won 6 seats in the election, and Margos would have made 7. The party posted similar results in 1987, when it won 7 seats and Margo once again lost by a narrow margin.

Margo announced that he would resign at some point after the 1993 elections for the party. By 1993, he had a family and a grown child in the form of Lizar Margo, who anticipated that he would replace his father in the party. After the party posted slightly above average results in 1993 when it won 10 seats, the elder Margo announced he would most likely retire in 1996. He did so, and Lizar Margo ascended to the role of party leader that year, which he remains to this day. Under Lizar Margo, the party has grown in membership, but decreased in seat number: in 1999, it won 7 seats; in 2005, it won 4; in 2011, it won just 3. Despite its small number of seats, the party remains the 9th largest party out of 17 in the Yaraan House. It is a member of the Secondary Opposition bloc, and contributes 3 of its 12 total seats.
